The possibility of extraterrestrial life has always piqued our interest. Is mankind alone in the universe? There have always been questions asked about whether there are other intelligent beings looking up into their night sky from very different worlds.
Adding to the curiosity, are the multiple ‘mysterious object’ sightings over the years. Now, a man from Hertfordshire, England, has claimed that his doorbell camera filmed a ‘triangular UFO’ flying over his home.
The footage shows a trio of lights moving slowly across the sky.
Matt Doughty was watching TV with his friend Kevin Barritt last month when his phone pinged with a notification from his smart doorbell, warning something was outside his front door, The Mirror reported.
Doughty, out of curiosity or scare, played the captured footage. He was left amazed as he watched the eerie scene unfold, with an ‘unidentified flying object’ gliding through the sky with three bright lights beaming through the darkness.
He then called his father, an aviation buff, who checked an online flight tracker and claimed there was ‘no plane traffic’ in the sky at all. It left them pondering over many questions regarding extraterrestrial life.
“I was sat with my friend and said ‘blimey, I didn’t hear the doorbell go but I’ve got an alert come up,” Doughty was quoted as saying by The Mirror.
“I looked at the footage and played it back. It was silent. Three lights came from the sky and I thought it was really weird,” he added.
Since the video clip was posted online on Tuesday, it has attracted more than 677 reactions and 330 comments – with some viewers admitting they were stumped.
