Second thoughts: The golden retriever approached the kitten and slowly reached to pet her with her paw but then changed her mind and ran away

‘Give her a kiss,’ someone urged Lucy from behind the camera, but the dog didn’t know what to do with her new roommate.

Lucy approached Joey and slowly reached to pet her with her paw but then changed her mind and ran away.

She circled the kitten and dropped down, stretching her paws in front of Joey, as if she was waiting for her new companion to make a move.

Lucy once again lifted her paw to touch Joey before running away. The video ended with the golden retriever lying a few feet away from the kitten.
