Video: Widespread Speculation Ignited by ‘Strange’ Orange Lights in the Night Sky in Cornwall

It is not known what is causing the sudden appearance of random lights that have been spotted in Plymouth and Cornwall this week

The sudden appearance of ‘strange’ lights which have appeared in the night sky this week is causing widespread speculation from an alien invasion to a strange phenomenon. Video and photo footage appears to show a series of orange lights which have been observed from over Plymouth from the direction of Looe.

One photo shows a number of stationary lights in an unusual formation which was last spotted last night, April 21. It has not been confirmed what has caused the lights to appear in the sky leaving people to reach their own conclusions.

Plymouth resident Jay Treeby said: “For some reason, I think Paul off the movie has just arrived and I think they’ve come over to take us. Can someone explain what this is?

“There’s three of them. I think we’re being attacked by aliens. We need to call the troops in.”

@picklevicc_ What is that? It looks like bright orange lights floating around in the sky forming a “Z”. Mind you I live in the desert with nothing but some fields around me. I took this video in 2021. I’ve never seen anything like it. #fyp #whatisthat #sky #lights #night #aliens #lmk ♬ original sound – picklevicc_

They were also observed by Valerie Mainwaring. She said: “Can anyone tell me what these are? They are stationary in the sky and do not move or drop.

“They blink off after approx 20 seconds to a minute the reappear. Drones don’t do that do they? I have viewed them over Plymouth from Looe twice this week.

“I saw it over night on April 21 and 22, over a period of several hours randomly appearing and disappearing. I also saw it on April 19 and 20 from 10.30pm to 4am, again randomly appearing with various numbers from one to eight.”

The lights were also spotted in Cornwall last night. George McLeish said: “Strange orange glow lights have appeared in the sky over Cornwall. As one light fades another appears.”
