Totally barking! Deranged dog’s bid to protect the family home turns into a furious standoff with… HERSELF

This is the hilarious moment an adorable Labradoodle catches her reflection in a mirror – and can’t quite believe what she sees.

The heartwarming clip shows the fuzzy canine – known as ‘Jolene the dolly doodle’ – prancing around as she watches her very own identical friend copy her every move.

She furiously wags her tail and taps at the floor-length mirror with her little paws while trying to work out what is happening.

The charming footage was posted to the canine’s Instagram account on Sunday and has since been viewed more than 200,000 times.

It begins with the pup leaning forward and making a high-pitched squeaky barking noise at the glass.

She then jolts backwards, realising her reflection is mimicking her.

Crouching down on the wooden floor and leaping backwards and forwards, she appears awestruck and confused.

At one point the captivating canine looks over her shoulder at the camera as if to ask ‘are you seeing what I’m seeing?’

The brown and white pup, who has nearly 33,000 followers on the picture-sharing social network, has posed up for hundreds of cute photos.

Most recently the Labradoodle, from Colorado in the USA, can be seen wearing a miniature Santa Claus outfit, complete with a red and white waistcoat and hat.

The delightful picture was captioned ‘MERRY CHRISTMAS from Santa paws!!!’ and was liked nearly 3,000 times.

Labradoodles are a cross between Labradors and Poodles and are one of the most popular dog breeds in the UK.
