A dog that had gone missing was finally reunited with its owner after being found 310 miles away from home.
Last year in France, a Malinois Shepherd named Bandit, who was one year old at the time, disappeared from his home in Côte-d’Or. This made his owner, Farid, very sad and he searched for months to find his beloved pet. Sadly, he was unable to locate Bandit for many months. However, after eight long months, a kind stranger found Bandit by the roadside.
It’s really sad that someone stole a puppy who was only 4 months old. But there’s a silver lining to the story because the dog was found even though he didn’t have a collar. It turns out that he had a microchip, which made it possible for him to be reunited with his owner, even though he was 310 miles away from home.
The meet-up was a huge success and the two best buds couldn’t have been happier to see each other again! Thanks to the shelter, a generous Samaritan, and a microchip, Bandit and Farid can now enjoy their lives side by side. Farid was so excited when he got the news that he rushed over to Bandit’s neighborhood right away!
Expressing gratitude towards everyone who contributed to his pet’s recovery, he emphasized the significance of microchipping pets. He believed that the return of Bandit was nothing short of a miracle, which would not have been possible without the microchip. He further added that it was one of the happiest days of his life when Bandit finally returned home.
Check out the heartwarming video of these two pals below. Farid shared the clip, expressing his happiness at being reunited with his furry companion after a long journey.
