Stray Puppy Has to Re-learn How to Walk After Head Injury

A street puppy struck by a car lay on the ground with his neck awkwardly bent back. But thankfully, someone saw that he was alive and cared enough to call Animal Aid for help.

The poor pup had signs of a brain injury. “Breezy” needed rest and time to see how he would do. For several days he “remained semi-comatose.”

His rescuers were delighted that on Day 3 he was eating and alert. By week 3 he was ready to try and walk again. Two months later…

Animal Aid writes, “It took 2 months of baby-steps for Breezy to re-learn some basic motor skills, But wow, he has ’em nailed down now!”
