Ozimar Queiroz and Lindomar Queiroz, who are tire repair workers, were in for a surprise when they showed early to their workshop in Estrada do Belmont, North Zone of Porto Velho, in mid-February. They spotted an abandoned dog on the side of the road, which was quite unexpected for them. The dog was gentle, small in size, had exposed paws, and was unable to walk.
After witnessing the dog’s unfortunate circumstances, Ozimar, also known as Galego, kindly offered to care for the animal until a suitable owner could be found. However, despite being under Galego’s care for 20 days, the dog has yet to find a permanent home. The dog was abandoned in front of Galego’s shop, and upon discovering it the following morning, Galego and his team took pity on the animal and have been providing it with food and shelter. Unfortunately, due to a physical deformity in which its two front legs are facing backwards, the dog is unable to walk and has been affectionately named “Seal” by the team. Despite their efforts, Seal is still in need of a loving home.
Throughout the day, the tire repair workers move him from place to place, until he eventually finds himself crawling through the mud to make friends with the only other animal around – a stray cat who roams the tire shop. Lindomar Queiroz shared with G1 that the dog is friendly but in need of medical attention, which he unfortunately cannot afford
Lindomar revealed that they decided to name the dog ‘Seal’ due to his physical appearance. They found him in a malnourished state, but he’s now gaining weight as they’re feeding him. Despite being covered in mud from the rain, they’re taking good care of him. The news of Seal’s abandonment spread on social media, and fortunately, he has now been adopted by a couple from Porto Velho.
The workers who discovered a pit bull on the street took care of him for nearly three weeks, ensuring he had enough food and water. They initially named him “Foca,” but when Michele adopted him, she gave him a new name. Michele’s heart melted when she saw the poor dog’s condition, and she fell in love with him immediately. As an economics student, she knew that love has no bounds, and her affection for the dog was like a mother’s love for her child.
