At the Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society of Henderson, North Carolina, Giblet is being cared for after she was abandoned and left on the side of the road to die. Who does that?
The Good Samaritan who found her stated the dog had been in a closed blue tote. They passed by it on the side of the road and then decided to turn around. When they opened up the container, Giblet had been wrapped in a bed sheet, and she looked up at her rescuers in gratitude. And as she received compassionate scratches on top of her head, she was even able to wag her tail.
Giblet is now able to stand up on her own, is being fed a special diet and is slowly making progress.
