We received a call from a lady who had found an injured barn owl (Tyto alba) in her garage. The WFFT Rescue Team immediately went to the aid of this injured bird. It appears that he had flown into the garage after becoming weak and has a badly broken wing. He is now in intensive care at the WFFT Wildlife Hospital. We do not know yet if he will make a full recovery and will keep you posted on his progress.
We rescued a beautiful barn owl from the side of the road. He has a broken wing and will receive the vet care needed at WFFT.
The stork has a broken leg and will likely need surgery to pin the bones together. Please help us help wildlife in dire need!
This barn owl arrived in a terrible condition – malnourished, dehydrated and has a severely infected wound on her right wing
