During their vacation in Crete, Greece, Kiara Ijzendoorn and her family encountered the puppy. Sadly, many stray dogs are neglected by certain individuals.
Ijzendoorn was completely astonished by what was unfolding before his very eyes. He couldn’t even fathom the agony that the poor puppy was going through and decided to lend a helping hand. The little pup was in an extremely fragile state of health when he stumbled upon it.
The young woman attempted to investigate the puppy’s circumstances to gain insight into his situation, but found that he was residing all by himself in a neglected barn near the road where she had previously spotted him. Kiara traveled to Greece and spent several days with the puppy, providing him with nourishment, hydration, and most importantly, love. She gave him the name Fos, which translates to “bright” in Greek.
Even though Fos was in a tough spot, he always greeted his visitors with enthusiasm. His little eyes would light up every time they came to see him, and he would show his appreciation with sweet kisses. It was clear that he was grateful for everything they were doing for him. Kiara was particularly smitten with the pup, so she made the decision to officially adopt him into her family.
After being examined by a veterinarian, it was discovered that Fos had suffered serious injuries in the past, suggesting mistreatment. To ensure his recovery and well-being, he required treatment for several days before being taken to his new home in the Netherlands, where Kiara and her family reside. Finally, Fos was sent off to start his new life with his loving new family.
