Brave Horse Runs Into Burning Stable To Rescue Younger Horses

A tense video showing a raging fire in California shows the incredible moment a horse turns around and runs back into its burning stable after being brought to safety.

This brave horse was on a mission to rescue other horses trapped in the blaze that ravaged through 100 acres of land in just three hours.

The courageous black horse went back to get two other horses, including a youngster, from a fenced-off area of the ranch.

After a short while, the tall black horse comes back with a brown horse and a young colt.

Thanks to the help of some locals, all the horses were moved to safety other than one 28-year-old who unfortunately needed to be euthanized on scene due to injuries sustained.

The flames quickly spread as the hurricane-level wind blew over the fire scorching through 1,300 acres of land overall

It even threatened the presidential Ronald Reagan Library which is the burial place of the late president and his wife.

Helicopters were seen dumping water at the scene and fire retardant on the library to avoid it being taken over by the fire.

Staff from LA’s Animal Services Department said they are happy to welcome any horse in need of necessary shelter.

Lucy Ruiz who works at the Animal Services Department as an animal technician says:

“We are going to keep this place open if we need, if anybody needs this space. The stalls are here for these horses that are being evacuated.”

As wildfires in the area have become more frequent and intense due to climate change, the local authorities have already had a lot of practice evacuating horses.
