A call came to Animal Aid Unlimited about a poor dog, who was about to die! The dog, Phoenix, had fallen into a sewer drain, but she was able to stay float as the water wasn’t that deep.
When the rescuers arrived, the dog was about to drown as her nose started form bubbles out of the water! She was rescued just in time. She would have died if she still there for 5 more mins.
They wonder why the dog was not able to get out of the sewer, but when they lifted her up, they knew the reason as her leg was totally necrotic and shattered.
They directly rushed her to the hospital to check her up. They found her suffering from hypothermia and her pulse had weakened. Her condition was very bad, but the rescuers just wanted to save her.
She had an amputation surgery after 3 days as she needed some time to be stabilized. She is now better, and wagging her tails whenever she sees her rescuers. How great!
