Some time back, someone shared a heart-wrenching tale about a little dog whose owner had passed away. The poor pup was kicked out of his home by the relatives of the deceased and was left to roam the streets alone. He tried to catch the attention of passers-by, but nobody seemed to care. Unfortunately, he fell into an open sewer and got stuck there, crying for help. Despite his pleas, people just walked away and left him to suffer.
Animal Aid Unlimited India was contacted by a compassionate man who had come across Felix, a street dog who was in distress and lying in a gutter. The rescuers were quick to respond to the situation.
Animal Aid Unlimited India reported on YouTube that they were contacted via their hotline due to a puppy’s distressful cries. Upon inspection, the poor pup was discovered in an open gutter, yelling out for help.
Initially, it was unclear what the issue was, yet we soon discovered various grave injuries on his limb.
After rescuing him, we brought him to the hospital run by Animal Aid. Our team provided him with pain relief and antibiotics to treat any infections. We also carefully cleaned and stitched up his wounds to ensure that he would heal properly.
Felix’s condition was getting better after undergoing medical treatment and taking some time to relax for two weeks.
Felix’s recovery was swift after being shown affection and care. The timid young one transformed into a lovable companion in just under two weeks, as noted by the rescuers.
