Life on the streets can really be tough for some dogs. They can find themselves in all sorts of terrible situations, like one dog who was trapped in a sewer drain and another who was stuck in an irrigation canal.
When rescuers with Sidewalk Specials in South Africa heard about a dog that was living in a dump area, they knew they had to step in to help.
They shared on YouTube that the dog, Molly, lived on the De Doorns landfill, but she had an issue with her paw.
The human caretaker of the landfill and the dogs that lived on it knew that the little dog needed help. She couldn’t hang with the bigger dogs, and she needed medical care. Staying at the dump was an option, but not a good one.
Thankfully, Sidewalk Specials was able to take her to Cape Town and get her the help that she needed.
Not only did Molly’s paw get fixed up, but she went on to be adopted by an amazing mama!
Molly now has a doggy sibling and a dedicated mama. When her adoptive mom got a job offer in Dubai, she refused to leave her pups behind. So, Molly got to travel the world!
She’s now living her best life in Dubai and enjoying the finer things that the world has to offer.
