A very pregnant dog was found in the park hiding under some cars. Terrified and alone, her rescuer could only assume she had been dumped there by a heartless person.
The stranger who cared more than her owner rushed over to make sure she wouldn’t get hurt. She tried to gain the dog’s trust. The dog was frightened but it only took some chicken and a few kind words to coax her out from under the car she was hiding under.
The dog slowly creeped out from under the car so the rescuer began making plans to put her in a crate so she could safely transport her to the rescue. She carefully got a leash around her neck while feeding her chicken and gently petting her.
Finally, she was able to transport her. Once they arrived at the rescue, her rescuers did their best to help her feel safe and secure. By then they named her Noel, set up a comfortable nursery for her to give birth to her puppies, and gave her lots of love and attention.
Now, all they could do was wait and hope she felt safe and would have an uneventful birth. Happily, when they checked on her the next morning, that seemed to be the case because Noel was snuggled in her new bed and wagging her little tail at them.
They didn’t have long to wait for her to give birth, either. Because soon she delivered five black and white and brown and white spotted puppies that looked just like their mother. The entire family was healthy and happy.
Three months later, the puppies are playful and adorable. Their proud momma is doing great, too. All because of the kindness of a stranger, this entire little family is happy and safe, and the puppies were not born on the street.
Soon, the cute puppies are playing outside, chasing, and tugging, and getting into puppy mischief while waiting for their forever homes. They couldn’t be any cuter than they are. It’s hard to imagine how hard life would have been had their mother not been saved.
How anyone could abandon a helpless animal at its most vulnerable is impossible to understand. Thankfully, there are people who step up and rescue and adopt these abused dogs and find homes for them.
We hope you enjoyed sweet Noel’s rescue story. Her puppies will make some people very happy one day. As always, please feel free to share with your friends.
