According to the old saying, there’s a new human born every minute. Which probably means there’s a new animal born every second. But some animals are incredibly rare — so rare there may never be another like it. Those are the animals we’re exploring in today’s video! From a two-legged dog to a four-legged duck, let’s meet the 15 Animals That Are Born Only Once Ina Thousand Years!
# Double muscled whippet
Wendy the whippet, the world-famous uber-muscled canine who made the New York Times and appeared on the Today Show and Inside Edition. Dogs are known to be muscular on every occasion but this is on another level.this breed last seen in 2007 was very muscular and could be seen openly from the look of things.it weighs 60 pounds but it’s believed that the dog double muscle was a result of mutation. but unfortunately, it died at the age of 15 and it was painful because the probability of getting another one was too slim maybe we start making it in labs.
#Two-headed pig
This is a fascinating creature which many people even don’t believe they existed.some pigs born with two heads have been discovered in Thailand and china although they are extremely rare species. Scientists claim it was as a result of the underdevelopment of twin pigs than appears as one. The photo shows a pig with two snouts, two ears and what appears to be a shared eye. A local veterinarian told the AFP news agency the animal is suffering a deformity and is unlikely to survive.
It results from an embryo splitting into two separate organisms, or twins, but the process is incomplete.
#Glowing cats
Cat owners might find a glow-in-the-dark kitty to be fairly useful—you’ll never trip over the cat at night again—but the Mayo Clinic scientists who created this glowing cat had a bigger goal in mind: fighting AIDS. The substance that makes the cat glow is a version of the green fluorescent protein that lights up the crystal jelly, a type of jellyfish that lives off the West Coast of the United States.
By inserting a version of GFP along with their gene of choice, they could easily see if they were successful because the organism would glow. Since the technique was first developed, researchers have made many glowing animals, including pigs, mice, dogs, even fish you can buy in the pet store.
#the snake with legs
A sixty-six years old woman saw a reptile clinging in the wall of her bedroom and it was nearly 31 cm long. That was not scary enough the snake had legs.
Snakes have been around in their familiar form for about 100 million years. From then on, there have been a few identifying factors that humans have used to help categorize them into their respective taxonomical sections (scientific categories). Recently, however, scientific findings have allowed us to peer into the past and see some ancient individuals. In some of these fossils, the snakes still had their legs!
#golden sea horses
Sea horses are fascinating creatures.and you could wish to see one very soon.they are of different colors and quality. The Gold Seahorse is a harmless Critter found in the Ocean. It is a gold recolor of an ordinary Seahorse, with a 1/400 (0.25%) chance of spawning instead of an ordinary version.
This creature came into life after a mixture of jellyfish florescent combine with tiny grains of gold and was inserted in the many eggs of female sea horses and hundreds of golden horses came into life.
